Resarch Project First Thoughts

This journal (blog) is about my research project for my Masters of Online Education at University of Southern Queensland. The project I am working on at work is "Virtual Worlds in Health Education" and my research project is going to be using the data collected from trialling this project.

At the point I have about 1/10 of my project proposal written and 9/10 of the first draft of my ethics application written. The reason for doing the ethics proposal first is that I found out last weekend that if I want to use the data that I will be collecting in Darwin in late July, I will have to get ethics approval and the date for application information if 7th May!!!!!!!

I think I have most of the issues covered but will find out when I send it to my supervisor for his thoughts before it gets sent to the committee. This is a bit nerve racking as I have only had email contact with him so far and I am starting the project early which is probably a bit inconvenient for him, but I do appreciate this opportunity to start early
